Telemundo can barely contain their excitement of seeing migrant families successfully enter the United States through the southern border. They are so excited that they produced a report complete with practical instructions on how to get in “fast and easy”: make sure to bring kids. Watch as anchor Felicidad Aveleyra, of Telemundo News´ Midday Edition, opens the segment explaining how easy it is to be released at the border. The report goes on to insinuate that Biden has given a green light to border crossings with children – including unaccompanied children who have now been given the chance to “reunite with their mothers”: FELICIDAD AVELEYRA: What criteria is the government applying towards the release of immigrants on the country's southern border? We have spoken to some immigrant mothers, and they believe that having young children hastens their release. … EDGAR MUÑOZ: When did you cross? ENI MEJÍA: Last night. MUÑOZ: Last night and you were already released? What do you think of this? Are you happy? MEJÍA: Thank God, very happy.  … MUÑOZ: One important thing Felicidad: lots of unaccompanied children. You mention seeing many children alone at the Border Patrol station. How is that? Did it make you sad to see that? MEJÍA: It’s sad because the truth is that they are children that come alone, looking for their mothers, to be reunited with them, and thank God they were also given the chance. … MUÑOZ: One more thing I’d point out, we have seen and as you can see here with the children, is that many of the people released here in the United States are fathers and mothers with children alone. However, there are some, but very few, cases of parents with teenagers. While the excitement at the Latino nets is understandable - given their need to access an endless supply of immigrants from Latin America- their tacit encouragement of the flight of unaccompanied minors is outright cruel, as not one word is mentioned about the horrors of human trafficking, coyotes or of the rampant sexual abuse large numbers of underage migrants are subjected to when crossing illegally into the United States. Did you swim? MEJIA: No, they passed us by raft, but the problem is that they don't pass us...as we say, I come with them, but they don't only cross us three. There cross a lot of people.
