Smug, Pro-BLM George Clooney Claims He Was Raised to Fight Bullies Like Trump

Posted on 07 December 2020

A-list virtue signaller George Clooney is once again justifying bashing America for its racist past and claiming it as his moral duty. Talk about smug.  The Oceans Elevens star and Black Lives Matter advocate gave an interview to People Magazine last week which centered on his political activism. Clooney and his philanthropist wife Amal, have given tons of money to a variety of leftwing causes over the years. Most recently the leftwing Hollywood power couple donated a whopping $7 million to the Biden campaign and another $500 thousand to anti-American “racial justice” initiatives making money off of Black Lives Matter fever.  We should note that the latter charitable giving was motivated in part by Clooney’s desire to make Trump look bad. Clooney announced his donation with mockery of the president, because nothing frames charity better than some fork-tongued meanness.  During the recent interview, Clooney heaped praise on his leftwing giving and remarked that it’s all because he was raised to be a saint from an early age. He stated, “You had to be involved. My mother and father were involved, and we were [taught] it is your civic duty.”  “I remember my father saying, ‘Don’t come back and look me in the eye unless you stand up to [bullies and racists].’ I’m glad to have been raised that way,” the actor claimed, adding that his father taught him from a “very young age to pick fights with people that are more powerful than you. And stick up for people who are less powerful than you, or had less of a position.”  Oh right. Towing the leftist line and literally paying for the lies and hatred shown towards the country’s law enforcement is really taking a stand. But George stood against Donald Trump with a tweet or two. That makes him a lone hero, especially in Hollywood, right? Not really. Clooney is clearly on the side of the bullies. Clooney is one of those Hollywood nuts who thinks racism is the systematic issue of our time. Therefore, he can imagine berating up Trump and conservatives as his patriotic duty. The actor delved into problematic critical race theory, spouting off on America’s “original sin.” He explained, “We come up short a lot—race being our great original sin and clearly the one we’ve been the worst at—but we are in the constant process of trying to find a more perfect union.” But we all know this is about more than admitting slavery was a bad time in America, which WE ALL know, it’s about promoting the rhetoric that America today still needs to be fundamentally altered to redress those sins.  “And so I’m a great believer and an optimist about our country, but I look at it with a realistic eye towards our flaws and how the only way to get better is to face them head on,” the actor added. Sure. Though does this involve radical progressive policies like defunding the police or reparations? Considering he thinks racism is our “pandemic” for which we’ve yet to develop a vaccine, probably.
