Another singer has publicly voiced support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.  Renowned vocalist Stevie Wonder sang at a pro-Biden drive-in rally that was held in Detroit on October 31. Billboard.com reported how he entertained his audience with songs both from the 1970s and songs he recently released.  He said that “I'm here because I do want to see this be a united people of these United States. I'm tired of hearing about all this negativity. I'm tired of hearing about more and more people dying of this virus that should have been checked a long time ago. The only way we’re going to win this fight, a fight against injustice, is by voting. You must vote justice in and injustice out.” So Biden’s name is synonymous with justice? It’s impossible to believe that “justice” is being voted in after Biden’s scandal in Ukraine (which his cronies in the news outlets chose to ignore). Oddly enough, Wonder also said he was annoyed with President Trump’s claim to upgrade the holiday Juneteenth, which celebrates the end of slavery in the United States, to official national holiday status. Instead, he wanted the president to create a plan to repay black people for "the work that we've all done for the last 400 years, unpaid.” Reparations is a winning political issue. Keep banging that drum, Stevie. Wonder also opposed Trump’s efforts to revoke Obamacare, saying that "we cannot allow that to happen."  Regarding Trump’s controversial statement toward Proud Boys, Wonder said, “When I hear someone say ‘stand back and stand by,’ you know what we say in the ghetto when somebody says that, right? You stand back and stand by, and guess what? Watch yourself get your ass whipped.” Well, it’s the White House that’s at stake here, not the ghetto. Besides, Trump has already denounced white supremacy numerous times.  Wonder should take his own advice and not worry ‘bout a thing. White supremacy and racism aren’t having a comeback in America no matter who gets elected.
