Not Liberal ENOUGH for Kimmel? Late Night Host Hypes Court Packing

Posted on 30 September 2020

If it wasn’t clear that the late night comedy hosts hate you, Jimmy Kimmel pushed Bernie Sanders from the left on Tuesday night, using a post-debate interview to hype court packing. He also worried that Joe Biden was distancing himself too much from the socialist.  Kimmel wondered, “If the Democrats win the Senate, would you support adding more justices [to the Supreme Court] to tip the scales back?” Unlike Biden, who won’t say, the senator was clear: “Well, let me say this. Chuck Schumer's the Democratic leader, said all options are on the table, and I agree with him.”      Getting explicitly partisan, Kimmel sounded like a DNC hack: “Have you ever seen a more brazen display of hypocrisy than Lindsey Graham saying he will vote to confirm a Supreme Court nominee, like six weeks before an election?”  The host fretted about Biden separating himself from the socialist: “Did you feel that Joe Biden was distancing himself from you in some ways?” He demanded, “It did seem like he was trying to distance himself from the Green New Deal. Is that just politics that he's playing?”  Kimmel’s colleague on CBS Stephen Colbert melted down and called Trump a “stain” and an “abomination.”  The far-left hackery was sponsored by Honda and Lincoln.
