In the wake of the failed impeachment of Donald Trump, the New York Times’ Elaina Plott took a 2,000-word front-page look Saturday at how Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has elevated his reputation in the eyes of average Republicans in “A New Image Of McConnell In G.O.P.
