What Does It Mean? WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange Fires Off Cryptic ‘Hash Key’ Tweet

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange fired off a cryptic tweet resembling a hash key before east coasters ring in 2018. 

Assange tweeted a set of numbers and letters with a YouTube video of “Paper Planes” by singer M.IA.

The song has the lyric “If you catch me at the border I got visas in my name.”

The singer took to Instagram in May to call Assange the “truth.”

In October, WikiLeaks tweeted a series of alleged ‘hash keys.’

Wikileaks released thousands of John Podesta emails in the month of October.

The WikiLeaks founder made headlines when his Twitter account disappeared over Christmas.

An odd sequence of events happened this morning, and it all surrounds the twitter account of Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks. First, overnight, his official Twitter account disappeared on all social media platforms. It was reactivated this morning. It is unclear if this is something that Twitter did, or if Assange deleted his account himself. Assange’s twitter account reappeared and then tweeted this:
