“This is Really Total Bullsh*t”: John Podesta Melts Down At Student Event Over Unscripted Questions

Posted on 30 November 2017

Former Clinton campaign chair John Podesta is having a difficult time since President Trump won the White House.

The perpetual sufferer of  ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome,’ freaked out during a talk titled “One Year Later: America’s Role One Year After the Election that Shook the World,” hosted by Duke University, after junior Nicole Kiprilov asked him about the now-debunked “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory.

Duke Chronicle reports:

So when junior Nicole Kiprilov asked him how he was dealing with accusations of being involved with the now-debunked “Pizzagate” scandal, that he owned 75,000 “undisclosed” shares of stock from a company with Russian Kremlin ties and Uranium One being a client of the Podesta Group—among other allegations—he didn’t hold back.

“This is how the alt-right does fake news,” Podesta said. “It’s personally painful because a lot of this is really total bullsh*t. My family and I have been put through this Pizzagate bullsh*t now for a year—which has totally been debunked, by the way.”

During the talk titled “One Year Later: America’s Role One Year After the Election that Shook the World” in Penn Pavilion Wednesday night, Podesta went on to push back on the student’s other points, and noted that such allegations are not rare on the internet. […]

Kiprilov said she didn’t believe in Pizzagate, a conspiracy theory claiming that Clinton and her top aides were running a child-trafficking ring out of a pizza parlor. But she said she asked the question because she was curious as to how he deals with such claims.

“Pizzagate was a conspiracy theory, but the other allegations, I don’t know,” Kiprilov said. “If he had been a bit calmer and more mature in answering the questions, I would have been satisfied. I was disappointed that he got so angered and triggered by my question.”

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Podesta is in ‘panic mode,’ after it was announced that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is weighing a special counsel to investigate the Uranium-One deal.
According to Fox News, the Justice Department head ordered senior federal prosecutors to evaluate whether or not a special counsel should investigate the Uranium One deal and “alleged unlawful dealings related to the Clinton Foundation.” Podesta penned an unhinged op-ed after the news, accusing President Trump and AG Sessions of attempting to turn the U.S. into a banana republic.
Podesta wrote in the Washington Post:
Okay, it’s official. President Trump wants to upend 230 years of constitutional history and principle to run the U.S. justice system like a banana republic, or perhaps more aptly like what now passes for the rule of law in the country he aspires to emulate, the Russian Federation. What the Founding Fathers built with a written Constitution and 85 Federalist Papers, the president is trying to tear down 140 or 280 characters at a time. […]
This week, it was reported that Attorney General Jeff Sessions — in an apparent effort to appease Trump — is considering appointing a special counsel to investigate Clinton’s role in approving the purchase of Uranium One, a company that owned uranium mines in the United States, by Russia’s nuclear energy agency. This is what authoritarians and tyrants do. They use the instruments of state power, particularly the wrath of the prosecutor, to rain opprobrium down upon citizens with whom they disagree. […]
[I]f Sessions yields to pressure from the president and the president’s House Republican allies, it will be a dark day at the department I once proudly served. The rule of law will have been weakened, and our country will be in further peril.

As Reddit user PandorasPanda noted, the op-ed shows Podesta is in ‘panic mode.’
