  1. David Reep says:

This is an excellently done message for all voters who value what we love about America. The freedom to live our lives and pursue our own dreams … The past few state elections have been a wake up call to those in Washington who have ignored and mocked the majority for the past several months. It seems they have been in denial but they are beginning to see we are serious and in November 2010 many in Congress and the Senate will be in the unemployment lines. Perhaps this will render the current administration helpless for the following two years so the damage to America can be stopped until 2012. I hope somewhere out there is a candidate who speaks with common sense and vision. Americas are resilliant people and will work hard and do with less if it is for the good of our country as a whole. I hope tomorrow we will be celebrating Scott Brown’s victory in MA as yet one more vote to break the hold on the democratic monopoly in DC. In all honesty it would be a joyous occasion to vote every incumbent out of office to rid the stench in Washington across all party lines.

  2. Tom Pauley says:

OK. You want this administration helpless for the next 2 years? What does that mean for all of us for the next 2 years? Stop the spending? If you really mean that, that means stop the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Do you really think a Republican will be elected and will stop spending money? If so, you are really in a dream world. The Bush boys sure stopped the spending didn’t they? Perhaps we should ask all of our congress to step down. Open the elections to everyone, regardless of how much money they have or to which party they belong. Brown’s election in Massachusetts wasn’t unanimous was it? That is what I don’t like about politicians. If they are elected, they forget about the 48 or 49 percent of the people who didn’t vote for them and believe that only the ones who voted for them should be rewarded. Our health care system is a mess. Do the conservatives have a solution? No, because they believe it will fix itself. Not gonna happen. Get real

  3. Dennis Patterson says:

If you believe that the proposed legislation winding it’s sinister way through the U.S. Congress and Senate will fix the healthcare system in this country, I highly recommend you put down the keg of kool-aid. You’re going to OD.

Fixing is one thing, destroying is quite another.

  4. carole wilson says:

    Mr Pauley
you said”If they are elected, they forget about the 48 or 49 percent of the people who didn’t vote for them and believe that only the ones who voted for them should be rewarded.”
I believe that is exactly what Obama has done, he was not voted in unamimously!and yet he chooses to not represent the other some where around 47 percent of the country who think he is the ruination of America, he sure does seems to be rewarding HIS people,, I sure dont feel like he is representing me, and if I complain about him they say I am racist,, but when people complain about Bush thats ok,, every administration blames the one before, Bush should have been screaming about Clinton I guess,,and so it goes

  5. Mark Anger says:

It is sad that the republicans who have been in power for years, and still are apparently, have nothing to offer but hatred and fear. All people deserve health care, you can’t put a price on human life. America will never get better until people stop spreading hatred and intolerence. Haiti had an earthquake, and the United states might as well had one too because we are destroying ourselves with petty politics, instead of taking care of our own for a change. The rhetoric that is coming out of the Republican party is just uneducated visciousness. We lost all of our freedoms and money during the bush years. Do you really want to go back to that. We have a president, for a change, who really wants to do something for the poor and middle class, but no one even the democrats will give him the tools to work with. Remember the teachings of Jesus, Heal the sick, Love your neighbbor as yourself. It’s obvious that the religious right, if they read the bible, understand nothing of it. SAd Sad Sad!

  6. D. D. says:

Well, if you are going to mention the Bible, it says if you don't work, you don't eat. Yes, we should help the unfortunate; give them a job. And by the way, if someone goes into the ER in a hospital, they get treated. America helps more people in more countries than anyone else. If you do not think so, I encourage you to pack up and go on a mission trip deep into some developing country.

This guy sitting in the White House doesn't even have a US birth certificate, but I bet he has a Kenyan one. This person is trying to take away your rights. You may want to study Cap and Trade. Soon there will be no middle class. Uneducated visciousness? Put down the cool-aid and turn on Fox news. You liberals make me want to puke.
