ms, the Secret Service and cops would have been paid anyway so there was no money wasted there.
This picture was taken at Miriam’s Kitchen which is a privately funded organization, so there were no “government funded meal”. Who to say this guy was homeless? And I don’t see him with a meal, government funded or otherwise.

Yes that is terrible this person wasted his money on a blackberry cell phone. WE THINK THAT IS WRONG TOO. But it is very possible he had a job when he bought the cell phone or maybe it was a gift from a friend or family member (not necessarially living with him). Just because one person abuses the system it doesn’t mean everybody does. We are sure there were many others who truley needed the hand out. Besides that is WASHINGTON DC. They feel different rules apply to them. Besides what about all the tax payer money that funded the secret service agents, police officers,and all the hoopla that goes along with the first lady making a appearance. HOW much food and services could have been paid for with money wasted on that? The whole thing was a set up photo op so the president could say “See how much this adminstration cares.” They don’t care about the little people they care about getting photos out there that makes it looks like they care. They need to serious look at the cost of things and what is the best way to complish their goals not just their standings in the opinion polls.
