Obama is President, not Billy Graham. Our country is not made up of only Christians. I am a Christian but Herod was not a Jew but he did not make the Jews adhere to Roman paganism. Obama is a Christian but he has to govern all religious sects in our country. Many Christians fled to the United States because of religous persecution. Now we Christians want only Christianity to be recognized? We are definitely hypocrites.

Last time I checked Jesus’ name was still Jesus. Wait let me look again, yep still Jesus. Catholic are NOT Christians, they are CATHOLICS. Christ never said to pray to his mother or Peter or Paul or anyone else that followed him. He never said confess your sins to some dude behind a vail, but to the HEAVENLY father! A catholics mass is more like a funeral, I celebrate him, I joyfully follow him because I want to not because I have to. Obama wants nothing to do with Jesus Christ, he wants the attention.

I have just been informed that tomorrow (Thursday) the Senate Judiciary Committee will begin formal consideration of David Hamilton — the notorious “No to Jesus, Yes to Allah”
judge nominated by Barack Obama for the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The Judiciary Committee is expected to vote tomorrow –
a key vote that could determine whether Hamilton gets
confirmed by the full Senate!

As you may know, in 2005 this former ACLU activist ruled that prayers “using Christ’s name or title” were sectarian and therefore unconstitutional.

To make matters worse, in a post-judgment motion for this same case Hamilton ruled that prayers said to “Allah” were acceptable!
So, according to Obama’s first judicial nominee, prayers to Jesus are unconstitutional but prayers to Allah are just fine!

Simply put, Hamilton said “No” to Jesus and “Yes” to Allah!

Here, the Greek letter eta was transliterated as the letter H in the Latin-speaking West (Greek eta and Latin-alphabet H had the same visual appearance and shared a common historical origin), while the Greek letter sigma was either transliterated as the Latin letter C (due to the visually similar form of the lunate sigma), or as Latin S (since these letters of the two alphabets wrote the same sound). Because the Latin-alphabet letters I and J were not systematically distinguished until the 17th century, “JHS” and “JHC” are equivalent to “IHS” and “IHC”.

“IHS” is sometimes interpreted as meaning Iesus Hominum Salvator (“Jesus, Savior of men” in Latin) or connected with In Hoc Signo. Some uses have even been created for the English language, where “IHS” is interpreted as an abbreviation of “I Have Suffered” or “In His Service”. Such interpretations are known as backronyms. Used in Latin since the seventh century, the first use of IHS in an English document dates from the fourteenth century, in The vision of William concerning Piers Plowman.[1] Saint Bernardino of Siena popularized the use of the three letters on the background of a blazing sun to displace both popular pagan symbols and seals of political factions like the Guelphs and Ghibellines in public spaces.[citation needed]

One of the oldest Christograms is the Chi-Rho or Labarum. It consists of the superimposed Greek letters chi (Χ) and rho (Ρ), which are the first two letters of Christ in Greek. Technically, the word labarum is Latin for a type of vexillum, a military standard with a flag hanging from a horizontal crossbar. A Chi-Rho Christogram was added to the flag by the Emperor Constantine I in the late Roman period. Therefore Christogram and labarum were not originally synonyms.

The most commonly encountered Christogram in English-speaking countries in modern times is the X (or more accurately, Greek letter chi) in the abbreviation Xmas (for “Christmas”), which represents the first letter of the word Christ.

IHS means Jesus only for Catholics believers, Jesus is MORE THAN THAT! Obama didn´t denie Jesus. He just covered a monogram. The name of Jesus in the name above all name, nobody can cover it!

Why even bother to make the speech in that particular room if the White House found it offensive to have IHS visible? He certainly feels at home with stained glass windows and other lofty architectural elements such as Greco Roman columns, ( campaign trail props )etc…perhaps he just does like like sharing the podium with any symbols more lofty than his own name.

Obama: There can only be one, 'One'.

Some people have argued that Obama does not want to use religion to further a political ideology. However, Obama did evoke the Sermon on the Mount, at this Georgetown appearance, to further his economic agenda. Although Obama failed to mention Jesus Christ by name for the Sermon on the Mount.

“There is a parable at the end of the Sermon on the Mount that tells a story of two men…‘the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house…it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock,’” Obama said.

“We cannot rebuild this economy on the same pile of sand,” he added. “We must build our house upon a rock.”

The last statement is particularly ironic since building your house upon a ‘ROCK‘ means to build your house with Christ as the foundation. Obama decided to blot out the real foundation from the timeless parable.
