I've been included in taxations for longer then I care to acknowledge, both on the private side (all my employed life history!!) and from a legal standpoint since passing the bar and following up on tax law. I've rendered a lot of advice and righted a lot of wrongs, and I must say that what you've put up makes perfect sense. Please uphold the good work - the more people know the better they'll be outfitted to comprehend with the tax man, and that's what it's all about.

I wonder how long it has been since the legislators and the Gov. and her staff have gotten raises, and how much of the $6.5B budget includes raises for them. Many of us haven't had a raise for a few years and may not even have a job, but we haven't been allowed to suspend payment of taxes!!!

You've got to be kidding me. If they need to shut down the state government, then shut it down. It isn't their money to keep. It belongs to the taxpayers. If they can't cut spending, then shut it down.

This sounds tailor made for the new President to say this is a good reason we had to sign the stimulus package so the states could keep thousands of bureaucrats on the payroll. For whatever reason I am glad some Republicans are finding their backbones once more.
